During my visit to Singapore City with my sibling and friends (6 persons) was definitely a breathtaking and satisfying. Even though we went back exhausted but we really enjoy the whole trip. The trip of 2 days in Singapore was quite a short trip to cover all the best places in Singapore (We went on a weekend). But, we still manage to visit 8 best places in The Lion City.
Day 1 - at Johor Bahru:
I travelled from KLIA2 to Senai International Airport while my siblings travelled from Kuching International Airport direct flight to Senai International Airport. We arrived at 10.30 am and straight away took Uber that cost us RM23 heading to Citrus Hotel, Johor Bahru. (for more Budget Hotel nearby JB Sentral) The Hotel’s area is quite convenient and its only walking distance which estimated 2 minutes of walking to Johor Bahru Sentral. There have few shop lots of convenience shops and 'Mamak' restaurant nearby the hotel.
After lunch, we took Uber to Eco Spring. Unfortunately, it was under construction at that time. Then, We moved on to The Danga Bay Park as it opened at 6.00 pm. At night, we spend our time shopping and chilling in The City Square Mall which is not far from our hotel as well. The mall was having a promotion period, its quite big & have plenty of outlets that good for shoppers. (Note: Its only worth it if you are going on a trip of people by Uber/Grab car.)

After clear with the Malaysian Immigration process, we took Bus No. TS07 ($7 per) to Universal Studio Singapore. As soon as we reached the Woodlands CIQ, We have to wait for a long queue to pass through the Singapore Immigration’s checking point then took the same bus to USS. (The bus only will be waiting for 15 minutes after dropping by passengers, the next bus will be available at every 1 hour).

Day 3: Singapore
As follows the same process like the 1st day, then we took bus to Keranji MRT and go to Raffles MRT. We bought an Ezlink card for the MRT uses.
3️⃣ Fullerton Bay
It was Sunny, we walked around the park and enjoyed the sight - seeing of the buildings, monuments, art along the Fullerton Bay. On our 2nd day in Singapore, we focused on doing sight - seeing and shopping for souvenirs since its our last day before we head back home!
4️⃣ Merlion Park
Next, we moved on to the Merlion Park which is only a walking distance from Fullerton Bay. Since it was on the weekend, the areas full with visitors, especially tourists that can be seen anywhere around the places enjoying sight - seeing and taking pictures’s activities. The Merlion Park is a free entry attraction and its an open place.
5️⃣ The Shoppes, Marina Sands by the bay
The Shoppes is located at Marina Sands by the bay, it is a luxurious Mall in the Singapore. We took MRT to the Bayfront MRT station and only a walking distance to The Shoppes. We didn't come there for shopping, instead we enjoyed the sight - seeing of beautiful view from the outside of The Shoppes Mall. You can see the whole city’s view right from there.
6️⃣ Garden by the Bay
Then, from The Shoppes we walked to the Garden By the Bay and it is also a Free entry attraction. If you wish to take a shuttle to walk around the Garden, it will cost $3 per person but we preferred walking while enjoying the scenery. The Garden’s maps are provided at the entrance gate. At the end of the tour in the garden, we bought the entrance tickets to explore the Flower Dome & Cloud Dome that cost us $28 per person. The last hour to purchase the ticket is at 8.30 pm. The view inside both of the Flower and Cloud Dome are breathtaking with a fresh nature.
7️⃣ Bugis Street
From Garden by the bay we took MRT to Bugis MRT station, its only a walking distance to the Bugis Street. If you are looking for souvenirs and gifts, Instead of Mustafa Centre, Bugis Street is also the best choice for shopping. It is cheap with various of choices (By all mean cheap if not thinking on the converted values because of course it would be expensive due to my country’s currency value MYR is lower as compared to SGD.)
8️⃣ Chinatown
From the Bugis , we took MRT to Chinatown MRT. Its a place for variety of foods (non - muslim) The chinatown street is slightly longer and there are plenty of foods variety. Later, we headed back to JB.
Day 3: To Kuala Lumpur
9️⃣ Johor Premium Outlet (JPO)
While waiting for the flight back to home, we went to the JPO for little shopping. It located not far from Senai Airport. JPO often having big sales and promotions for the brands outlet, its a bargain to purchase at JPO because the price is slightly cheaper than normal retailer. (Constantly due to the older/past seasons).
Visiting Singapore was the best experience, i would like to come back again in anytime soon.
